  1. We are actually having a family photo shoot done next week by a photographer friend of mine. I will ask her to take better pictures and post them. I found another forum where this holster is mentioned. I’m about to post it there too. As I stated earlier, I’m not trying to value this for sale, but it’s of no real value to me, and if it’s authentic, could be very much needed by a collector. Thank you guys for the help. I certainly will not ship it to anybody unless I knew them personally. Thanks again!!

  2. I would strongly advise against sending it anywhere, If a member of a forum is familiar with the type of items that are posted, they will be able to give a reasonable opinion on authenticity even from photos. I would, however advise you to take other photos with a good camera and include all the details along with good close ups

  3. Thank you sir. I’ll keep searching. I actually found a different forum. I’m waiting on approval to join. I would love to know if this holster is real. I’m thinking it’s going to require me to send it in to get looked at in person. Thanks again.

  4. Well thats very kind of Desert Rat to say this, but I have to admit I know very little about holsters , Its not something I collect mainly because we are not allowed to own live fire weapons in England, at least not the kind we would all like to own ie WW2 era. Saying that I took a look at the Holster in question, The workmanship that seems to have been done on this piece, is very good albeit fakes have got better over the years, but I would be inclined to say that there is a chance this could be the real deal seeing the age and where it was kept over a long period of time. I would also say that I think you need other opinions, certainly from people who actually collect, pistols and holsters, sorry I cant be of more help
